'Marty Supreme' to stream April 24 on HBO Max

March 20 (UPI) — Marty Supreme is coming to HBO Max in April.

The comedy-drama film starring Timothée Chalamet will begin streaming April 24, HBO Max announced in a press release Friday.

Marty Supreme is directed and co-written by Josh Safdie of the Safdie brothers (Uncut Gems). The movie follows Marty (Chalamet), a young man who attempts to become a world champion table tennis player.

“Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,” an official description reads.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher also star.

Marty Supreme opened in theaters in December and was distributed by A24. The film was nominated for nine Oscars, including Best Picture and and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Chalamet.
