‘Several dead, wounded’ as blast hits Baghdad’s Sadr City

Baghdad (AFP) – Several people were killed and others wounded as a strong blast struck the Sadr City district of the Iraqi capital late Wednesday, security and medical sources said.

They said the explosion hit near a Shiite mosque in the district of northeast Baghdad.
