President Donald Trump reacted Tuesday to the news that celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti was arrested for domestic violence.

Asked by reporters if he had a reaction to the arrest of Michael Avenatti, Trump replied with a small grin, “No. I wish him the best of luck.”

Avanatti was recently arrested by law enforcement officials after he was accused of domestic violence.

Actress Mareli Miniutti claimed that Avanatti called her an “ungrateful fucking bitch” and dragged her across the floor, according to reports.

Avenatti, who was exploring a presidential bid in 2020, denied the accusation, describing himself as “a target.”

Avenatti also represented porn star Stormy Daniels as she embarked on a publicity tour on the claim that she had an extra-marital affair with Trump before he became president, despite accepted a payment and signed a non-disclosure agreement saying that the affair did not happen.

Avenatti also brought accusations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, claiming that he raped a woman. Those allegations were largely debunked.
