Netanyahu Defends Removal Of Metal Detectors from Temple Mount

TEL AVIV – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday defended his decision to remove metal detectors from the entrance to the Temple Mount following Muslim unrest over the matter, saying it was not an easy decision but that it was in the best interests of national security.

Israel To Reopen Temple Mount With Additional Security Measures

TEL AVIV – Israel will gradually reopen the Temple Mount complex to Muslim worshipers on Sunday while adding additional security precautions after the site was closed following the murder of two Israeli police officers by three Arab-Israelis on Friday morning.
