Friday on CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) discussed today’s release of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s “Hard Choices” Benghazi chapter, which was obtained by Politico. Clinton’s sneak peak was roundly criticized as an attempt to move on from the Benghazi scandal that took place during her tenure as secretary of state.
Chaffetz who has been a leading voice in the congressional investigations into the 2012 terror attacks told host Jake Tapper Clinton would not be able to escape testifying before the select committee Speaker of The House John Boehner(R-OH) formed early this year. The Utah Republican said “if we want to get to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, you have to hear from the secretary of state.”
