Robert Redford Ignores Global Warming Lull, Pushes Obama on Climate Change Action

A dog must have run off with Robert Redford's copy of The New York Times yesterday.

The June 10th edition of the Gray Lady detailed how global warming hasn't grown as all the settled science told us it would over the past decade. Today, Redford has an op-ed for USA Today imploring the president to do more than offer lip service on climate change.

Clearly, the president understands the climate issue. But he owes more to future generations than his intellectual acknowledgement about the hardships they will face if nothing is done to address it. He owes them action.

Redford calls for more green energy production, declaring recent droughts and storms are sure signs of climate change. For followers of Al Gore's Church of Global Warming, any extreme weather condition is more proof that climate change is real, even though their models keep coming up wrong.

The actor/activist may also be unaware that many of President Barack Obama's green energy initiatives have produced more waste than power.
