Drudge: Megyn Kelly Moves to Primetime *UPDATE* Ailes Reponds
***UPDATE: On Neil Cavuto's show, Thursday, Fox News chairman Roger Ailes responded to the news that Megyn Kelly is moving to primetime:
Generally, I don’t confirm or deny any rumors, and that is a rumor at the moment,” said Ailes, adding “all of our stars will be back.”
As for Hannity, who currently hosts the 9pm hour, Ailes said, “Hannity is a brand that many of our viewers love and want to see, and, as you know, is one of the nicest guys in the building.”
According to the Drudge Report, there is a major shakeup under way at Fox News. For the first time in a decade, changes are underway in the network's top-rated primetime schedule.
Afternoon anchor and rising cable news superstar Megyn Kelly is moving into the 9PM hour currently occupied by Sean Hannity.
Hannity hosts one of the top two or three hours in all of cable. So it would be a major surprise if "Hannity" wasn't moved into another primetime slot.
This post will be updated as new reports come in.
