Not Just Street Thugs: Pakistani Lawyers Burn American Flag During Film Protest

Several hundred lawyers in the Pakistan capital of Islamabad have broken through a gate into an area which houses the US Embassy and other foreign missions.

The protests are among many others across the globe, which were sparked by an anti-Islam film produced in America.

Police stopped the demonstrators before they could reach the US Embassy, which is surrounded by another set of high walls and protected by security guards. 19 Sep 2012 post a comment
