White House: Continuing Problems For Sandy Victims 'Local Issue'

When asked to respond to the frustrations of victims of hurricane Sandy — who, weeks later are still without power and have even had their homes mistakenly torn down — the White House praised President Obama for his “focus” on the problem and “quick response.” White House Spokesman Jay Carney went on to say that the current problems Sandy victims are now facing are “local issues” to be addressed at the State and local level.
