Cops: Woman Brought Dog To Burglary
MELBOURNE, Florida - Authorities need your help locating a woman suspected of burglarizing a Melbourne home Tuesday with an unusual accomplice: a small dog. Surveillance cameras at the home show the woman and the dog casing the joint, approaching the front door and attempting to pry open a sliding-glass door.
Eventually, deputies say the woman was able to make her way inside and was later seen leaving through the front door carry a bag.
Police put out a description of the suspect: small, four legs, black, hairy...accompanied by a middle-aged Hispanic woman about 5 feet tall and somewhere between 150 and 200 pounds.
Surveillance footage shows the escape vehicle to be a small late model SUV either blue or green
