GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is calling on Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton to pay taxpayers back for the 50 State Department employees who have had to spend work hours processing her old emails.

According to a Reuters report, the former Arkansas Governor said “Clinton’s decision to use a private email address for official communications as secretary of state” caused a “huge administrative burden.”

“Today, more than 50 State Department employees can’t do their job because Hillary Clinton broke the law by using a personal email server. The Middle East is on fire, Syria’s refugee crisis is raging, and America’s diplomatic power grows weaker each day, but our State Department is wasting time and money sorting through Hillary’s emails-this is complete nonsense,” stated Huckabee.

Huckabee said that the American people have had to pay the price for Clinton using a private email server during her time as Secretary of State and they shouldn’t have to waste any more money “so that 50 State Department employees can sort through Hillary’s email mess.”

“Hillary should apologize to these employees and immediately reimburse taxpayers for this waste,” Huckabee concluded.
