LOS ANGELES, Nov. 25 (UPI) — Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for its upcoming family drama Fences.
The screen adaptation of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play is slated to open in theaters on Dec. 25.
Denzel Washington directed the film and co-stars with Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson and Saniyya Sidney. The movie is set in 1950s Pittsburgh.
Washington and Davis previously won Tony Awards for portraying the roles of Troy and Rose in the 2010 Broadway revival of Fences.
