NEW YORK, March 20 (UPI) — Idina Menzel has new, blonde hair.
The 43-year-old actress showed off her honey-colored tresses Thursday on Instagram. Menzel previously sported dark brown locks, and drew comparisons to her fair-haired Frozen character, Queen Elsa, with her new look.
“Look what me and my girl @jtfranchuk did today,” she captioned a photo of herself in a car. “Needed a change. Loving it! #brunettetoblonde #blondehairdontcare.”
Menzel voiced Elsa in animated Disney movie Frozen, and recorded hit song “Let It Go” for the film. The studio announced plans for a sequel last week, but Menzel and co-star Kristen Bell are not yet confirmed to return. Bell subsequently said she would play Princess Anna “forever” if she could.
