Netflix renews Ashton Kutcher’s ‘The Ranch’ for a second season

BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., April 30 (UPI) — Netflix has renewed the comedy series The Ranch for a second season.

Cast members Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson and Sam Elliott made the announcement via video Friday.

“Hey, y’all. Greetings from The Ranch. Just a reminder, we’ve got 10 more episodes coming up this fall,” Masterson said, referring to the premiere of the second half of Season 1.

“Oh, yeah, and we got picked up for a second season. Boom,” Kutcher said, with Masterson chiming in, “Boom.”

“Yeah, due out in 2017,” Elliott added.

Kutcher tweeted the 16-second clip alongside the message, “Sharing the news that The Ranch has been renewed for a second season, due out in 2017.”
