CHARLESTON, S.C., June 21 (UPI) — Former child actor Jake Lloyd is in custody in South Carolina after he allegedly led police on a reckless, high-speed car chase Sunday.
TMZ reported the pursuit ended and Lloyd, 26, was arrested when he lost control and crashed through a fence and into a wooded area.
He was charged with reckless driving, failure to stop, resisting arrest and driving without a license.
Lloyd is best known for his portrayal of young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. His other credits include Jingle All the Way and ER.
