BUFFALO, N.Y., July 18 (UPI) — LeSean McCoy isn’t being considered for president, but he might have found his running mate.

After a suspension knocked out backup running back Karlos Williams, the Buffalo Bills have been in the market for a replacement. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the team officially made an offer for Reggie Bush Monday.

Last week, CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reported that he “would be very surprised” if the Bills didn’t reach out to Bush.

Rapoport said that Bush is “weighing his options” and in “no rush.”
The 31-year-old played in five games last season for the San Francisco 49ers before a season-ending knee injury. In February, he told the Detroit Free Press that he has no plans to retire.

Bush had eight carries for 28 yards last season.
