WASHINGTON (AP) — Speaker Paul Ryan has told House Republicans a deal has been reached on a year-end tax and spending bill.

The $1.1 trillion spending bill funds all government agencies through the 2016 budget year. The tax deal extends dozens of breaks worth hundreds of billions.

Congressman John Kline of Minnesota says Ryan shared details inside a closed-door house GOP meeting and says he plans to be supportive.
