WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 (UPI) — Donald Trump’s top aide Kellyanne Conway said former Texas Gov. Ricky Perry and Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin are visiting the president-elect on Monday.

Conway said she’s heard reports that both are under consideration for Cabinet positions, but did not confirm or deny them. Perry is reportedly being considered for secretary of energy or defense, while Fallin is being considered for interior secretary.

Conway said Trump’s transition team is ahead of schedule, and that Trump’s administration will be successful in implementing its agenda.

“Divided government is over,” Conway told Fox News, adding that there will be a “flurry of activity” in Trump’s first 100 days in office.

“Things will actually happen in Washington,” Conway said.

Announcements regarding appointments could occur “possibly” on Monday, Conway said.

Trump has been meeting with several people in recent days.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who is reportedly being considered for the position of secretary of state, met with Trump on Saturday. Conway said Romney and Trump had a “productive conversation” about the U.S. economy and global affairs.

Former presidential candidate Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, said that although his preference is “to be outside and act as an adviser” to Trump’s administration, he would give “very serious consideration” to joining as a member of the Cabinet if Trump’s transition team thinks it would be the best course of action.
