WAM ABU DHABI, 23rd November 2013 (WAM)– World-famous aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, will display on Sunday, 24th November over the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

The display will last approximately 25 minutes and will demonstrate the very best of the pilots’ skills and precision flying.

Following their display in Abu Dhabi, the Red Arrows will be flying at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show over the National Day weekend between 30th November and 2nd December.

The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, performed earlier this week at the Dubai Air Show and are in the U.A.E. as part of a five-week tour of the Middle East. The nine display pilots of the Red Arrows form part of an elite part of the UK’s Royal Air Force.

Squadron Leader Jim Turner, Team Leader of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team and Red 1, said, “the Red Arrows are proud to have flown in the U.A.E. and have thoroughly enjoyed their time here.

"We are looking forward to our display in Abu Dhabi, over the iconic Corniche, in what promises to be an unforgettable event." WAM/MMYS
