Fire breaks out at mental hospital in Russia

DRYUTSK, Russia, June 15 (UPI) —


A fire in a mental hospital in Russia caused 50 patients to be evacuated, emergency responders said.




The fire took place at a hospital in Dryutsk, a town in the Smolensk region, 230 miles southwest of Moscow, ITAR-Tass said Saturday.




The Russian Ministry of Emergency Services said no injuries were reported and the fire was contained to a single room.
