LOS ANGELES, March 11 (UPI) — A 2003 video featuring rapper Kanye West performing an old version of his hit single “Gold Digger” surfaced online on Sunday.
The clip finds West rapping the track in a bright orange Reese’s t-shirt two years ahead of its official release with Oscar-winning singer John Legend in the piano and back vocals at The 2nd Annual Dynamic Producer Conference.
The official version of “Gold Digger” was released in 2005 as the second single off of Ye’s second album, Late Registration. The track features guest vocals by Jamie Foxx. The song was the duo’s second No. 1 single on the US Billboard Hot 100
West announced the title of his forthcoming solo album, So Help Me God, on March 1.
