ICT Fund interacts with distinguished Emirati youth at Think Science Fair


WAM DUBAI, 21st April, 2014 (WAM) — The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Fund, an initiative by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, announced today its participation in the Think Science Fair currently running at the Dubai World Trade Centre.




The purpose of ICT Fund’s participation is to bridge the communications gap and interact with distinguished Emirati youth who excel in the science and technology field.




ICT Fund has a stand with the Dubai Astronomy Group to update participating and visiting students on the latest trends in science and technology, and the ICT Fund’s role in supporting Emirati innovative scientific ideas that reflect positively on the national economy.




"Our participation in the Think Science Fair, the nation’s biggest science innovations event, exemplifies our commitment to bridge the gap and connect with young Emiratis interested in science and technology and most intellectual and creative areas, as the U.A.E. achieves steady progress towards the future, building a strong base of Emirati talent armed with skills and values of a knowledge economy under the directions of its wise leadership," commented Omar Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Acting CEO of the ICT Fund.
