Texas Police Hunting for ‘Stinky Butt’

Police officers in East Texas are searching for a suspect known as “Stinky Butt.” Officials are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the fugitive.

The Jacksonville, Texas, Police Department is seeking help from the public in finding a wanted felon, Drashaydrian Montell Hunter, A.K.A. “Stinky Butt.” Officers received a tip that “Stinky Butt” had been seen in a local park, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The officers responded to a tip and spotted the man who quickly fled into a wooded area and creek, officials stated. Police K-9 officers and a Department of Public Safety helicopter tried to track down the wanted felon. The search yielded no results.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about “Stinky Butt,” the department added. He is described as a black male, 5’9″, approximately 165 pounded. He is reported to be about 27-years-old. He has multiple warrants from the Jacksonville PD and sheriff’s offices in Kaufman, Van Zandt, and Smith Counties in Texas.

“Stinky Butt” is wanted in Jacksonville on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the Sacramento Bee reported. “Jacksonville police brought in a helicopter and canine units, according to the release, but not even then could they sniff out ‘Stinky Butt,” the newspaper reported.

He is also wanted in connection with an alleged carjacking and escaping custody from police who had taken him to a local hospital. He was being treated for injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred during the carjacking, police said. That incident happened on November 30, 2017. He initially used his brother’s name when police arrested him and took him to the hospital.

The suspect has a criminal history that includes an arrest for organized criminal activity and burglary of a building in 2016. He also was charged in 2010 for alleged manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.

The search for “Stinky Butt” continues.
