Maher: I’ll Only Accept Garland on Supreme Court, The Pick Was ‘Stolen’

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher declared, “The Supreme Court pick was stolen. The Democrats better grow a pair on this one, alright? The only person I would accept is Merrick Garland, Obama’s pick.”

Maher stated, “I call him Neil No-Such, because no such person is going to get on the Supreme Court, if I had something to do with it. I hear the Democrats like sort of mumble about, well, he’s too right on this. I don’t give a f*ck about any of that. The Supreme Court pick was stolen. The Democrats better grow a pair on this one, alright? The only person I would accept is Merrick Garland, Obama’s pick. The only person. This is not about Neil Gorsuch. This is about the Democrats. stop bringing a knife to a gunfight.”

Maher later conceded that former Vice President Joe Biden did argue against confirming Supreme Court nominees during a presidential election year, which he said was “really stupid.”
