AIKEN, S.C. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump calls the Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts “disgraceful” and a “disappointment” to conservatives.

The billionaire businessman cites Associate Justice Clarence Thomas as his favorite member of the court. Trump says Thomas is “very strong and consistent.”

Trump made his remarks Saturday at a forum. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson moderated the rare question-and-answer format, but the event still had the feel of a typical Trump rally.

About 4,000 vocal supporters gathered for the event, which drew about a dozen protesters who interrupted him multiple times.

Responding to Wilson’s questions, Trump promised to gut President Barack Obama’s executive actions, including on immigration. He also blasted government regulations.

But the Republican front-runner offered few specifics on what he would change.
