Boko Haram Throws One Million African Children Out of School

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s record at the State Department is coming under fire as the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram spreads horror and havoc in Africa.

The Associated Press reports Tuesday that 2,000 schools have now closed in the nations of Nigeria, Cameron, Chad, and Niger, due to Boko Haram’s fighting. The number of formerly matriculated students who have now been displaced from their schools: More than one million.

Some on Capitol Hill Tuesday morning are pointing out the fact that Clinton never classified Boko Haram as a terrorist group during her tenure as Secretary of State between 2009 and 2013, and the decision was reportedly hers to make.

President Obama has sent a small contingent of military personnel including soldiers to the West African region in pursuit of Boko Haram.
