New Jersey Governor Chris Christie reacted to the news that Iran had released the two U.S. navy ships and 10 American service members after detaining them, describing it as an intentional provocation against the Obama administration.

“This is a display of by Iranians how little they respect this President and how weak this President truly is,” he said in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo this morning.

Bartiromo pointed out during the interview that White House press secretary Josh Earnest had criticized Christie for his negative rhetoric after Obama’s State of the Union Speech.

“Listen, I am glad that Josh Earnest is speaking about me again. Here I will give the message right back to Josh: that is because I live in the real world Josh, and your boss lives in fantasy land,” Christie responded. “We should give him a lifetime pass to Disney World. Let him go there. He doesn’t belong in the White House.”

Christie dismissed Obama’s State of the Union speech as “story time with Barack Obama” criticizing him for acting delusional on foreign policy.

He particularly criticized Obama for saying that his approach to the conflict in Syria was working.

“Tell the 250,000 dead Syrians that his policy is working,” he said. “Tell the Syrian refugees running for their lives to Europe and to other parts of the Middle East.”
