Alleged Female Thief Attempts Wig Heist and Leaves Purse with ID Behind

A Stockton beauty supply store security camera caught a woman stealing human hair extensions and shoving them in her purse. CBS Sacramento reported that the thief struggled with the owner of the store, who was armed with a stun gun, and managed to escape, leaving her purse behind with the wigs and all of her identification.

Stockton Police identified the ID and social security card of the alleged pilferer as well as two other social security cards. The woman caught on camera was suspected to be Tashiana Scott. The owner of Cathy’s Beauty Supply Store, Andy Hyun, was surprised that she had all of her ID’s in the bag. “Normally they bring an empty bag,” Hyun said. “I’ve never seen this before. That’s very weird.”

Hyun, who hurt his back and his knee fending off the thief, is getting weary of these types of situations and remarked, “I think I’m going to quit this business, that’s how much it hurts.” Hyun reasons that the suspect is working as part of a team, because the wig stealer had a getaway car waiting for her.

The beleaguered proprietor has constructed a wall of shame for all suspects who have been caught on his video surveillance camera robbing the store, and it is certain a new entry is about to be added.
