Yesterday, the University of California Student Association voted on a resolution to divest from companies with economic ties to Israel. While other media personnel were granted access immediately, Breitbart News Journalist Adelle Nazarian was initially denied entry to the hearing.
According to Miss Nazarian: “What appeared to be a media screening process was carried out by a UCLA student who was managing admission into Sunday’s BDS vote on campus. Raj Randhawa told me that he is allowed to block anyone from the media with the exception of UC Media from entering.”
It is very telling when the people heading an event to vote on a resolution that purports to support equality selectively choose when such equality should be applied.
