China Tries to Combat Scourge of E-Waste

E-waste from America, Japan and the European Union is pouring into China through underground channels. In south China’s Guiyu, workers are poisoned by toxic fume chemicals when they melt e-waste and the environment is severely damaged. Underground channel of smuggling e-waste into the country is making it impossible for the government to fight back.
