Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America” as she discussed her new book, “Gutsy Women,” Hillary Clinton described the “gutsiest” thing she has ever done.
Clinton said that personally for her it is staying in her marriage with former President Bill Clinton after his affair with Monica Lewinsky, adding running for president was also tough.
“Oh, boy, I think the gutsiest thing personally: make the decision to stay in my marriage,” Clinton outlined. “Publicly, politically: run for president and keep going. Just get up every day and keep going.”
Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, was then asked what the “gutsiest” thing she had ever done and she said she was “so overwhelmed” by her mother’s answer that she was “out of words,” but that for her it is being a mother.
