Leaked Document: US Lumps Together China, Iran, Israel as 'Key Targets' for Counterintel

According to a document leaked by Edward Snowden to The Washington Post, the Obama administration sees Israel as a “key target” for US counterintelligence. The document shows that the United States believes Israel thinks that the Obama administration is out of alignment with it on both Iran and the Palestinians. The document lumps together “key targets, such as China, Russia, Iran, Israel, Pakistan and Cuba.”

The budget document comes from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s Fiscal Year 2013 Congressional Budget Justification.
