June 25 (UPI) — The third album from 5 Seconds of Summer titled Youngblood, has debuted in the No. 1 spot in both the United States and Australia.

In their native Australia, 5 Seconds of Summer opened at No. 1 on the national albums survey along with its title track entering a fifth week on top of the national singles survey, Billboard reported.

Youngblood is the group’s third chart-topping debut in Australia and the U.S. where 5 Seconds of Summer became the only band to open at No. 1 with their first three full-length albums. 5 Seconds of Summer also became the first Australian act with three No. 1 albums released in the U.S.

“Youngblood is a certified billboard #1 album in America. You came together as people to get us our 3rd number one record for all the right reasons. Today you made history for 4 young men, and you are every reason why we feel like the luckiest people alive,” the official Twitter account of 5 Seconds of Summer said.

“You guys continue you blow my mind, I’m overwhelmed with emotion. This one feels different and you made it #1 for us. Thank you (heart emoji) love forever Youngblood, member Luke Hemmings said on Twitter.

I am honored that we can say Youngblood is our 3rd consecutive #1 album in the U.S. I don’t have the words to thank the people that support us except that we [expletive] love you. Thank you to our team for helping us see through our vision and achieve what we set out to do,” said member Michael Clifford.

“This is for YOU and because of YOU. Thankyou for being our source of ambition, reinvention and motivation,” said member Calum Hood.
