LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) — Ashton Kutcher says he was technically homeless after his divorce from Demi Moore.

The 38-year-old actor revealed Saturday at the 2016 Airbnb Open that he lived in Airbnbs for a year following his split from the 54-year-old actress.

“Right after I got divorced … I didn’t have a house,” he explained, according to Us Weekly. “So I just started living in Airbnbs.”

Kutcher and Moore split in 2011 after six years of marriage and finalized their divorce in 2013. The actor, who was an early investor in Airbnb, said at the event that one particular Airbnb host gave him hope during the breakup.

“I went to Europe, and I flew in and got in in the middle of the night. I arrived at the Airbnb at 2 a.m. The person had left me dinner and a glass of wine,” he recalled.

“It was … the magic and the love that I needed in that moment. I was shocked that someone would care that much about a total stranger,” the star added.

Kutcher has since married his former That ’70s Show co-star Mila Kunis, and is expecting his second child with the 33-year-old actress. He revealed in October that they are having a baby boy and later joked on Conan about naming his son Hawkeye.

“We have a named dialed in that we’ve had for a while, but the problem is if you get the name too soon, suddenly there can be slight trepidation about the name,” the actor said more seriously.
