Death toll in Kabul attack rises to 31: health ministry

Kabul (AFP) – A suicide attack on a voter registration centre in Kabul on Sunday killed at least 31 people and wounded 54 others, the health ministry said.

The new death toll given by spokesman Wahid Majroh could not be immediately confirmed. But a police official told AFP on condition of anonymity that at least 25 people had been killed and 70 wounded.
