Two sentenced in Nigeria over 2010 deadly bomb blasts

Abuja (AFP) – A Nigerian court sentenced two men to life imprisonment on Wednesday over deadly twin bomb attacks which killed 12 people during the country’s 2010 Independence Day ceremony. 

Charles Okah and Obi Nwabueze were convicted for facilitating and financing the blasts in the capital Abuja by the Federal High Court.

The pair were also convicted over a twin bomb attack in Warri, Delta State, earlier the same year which killed two people.
