Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany talked with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday regarding tax reform in the Senate and Democrat leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi bailing on a meeting with President Trump on Tuesday.
“We’re on the cusp of a great victory,” said McEnany, “and I think it’s important at this moment to really point out how the media has framed tax cuts.”
She continued, “It was always this thing that was never going to happen. Republicans were the party of division and disarray. It’s how it was tainted relentlessly all across the mainstream media, really. And now we’re on the precipice of a victory, a huge victory – more money in the American people’s pockets – and interestingly, you don’t hear too much about it as I’m going through the morning shows this morning.”
McEnany said tax reform would be “a big deal for the American people.”
She also blasted “No-show Nancy and Duckin’ Chuck” for not showing up to the meeting with President Trump.
