(AP) Eagles say Cooper told them he got threatened
PHILADELPHIA
The Eagles say Riley Cooper told them about threatening messages he received after a video of him making a racial slur became public.
Cooper, a fourth-year wide receiver, was fined by the Eagles, and then left the team to seek counseling. A video of him using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert in June surfaced on Wednesday.
