A former Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) official accused of playing a central role in a scheme that funneled more than $1.2 million to white supremacist groups did not appear at her arraignment on Tuesday.
The April 21 indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center comes after the late Charlie Kirk spent years saying the organization’s hate-group designations targeted conservatives, Christians, parental-rights activists, and Turning Point USA.
