Police from Pearland, Texas, are in the midst of a manhunt for a previously deported immigrant sex offender. The illegal alien allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old with Down Syndrome at her home on Monday, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s office. He had previously been deported for a prior conviction of indecency with a child.

Jesus Atrian, 25, was apparently a family friend.

“The family contacted police Monday and the victim was taken to the hospital and was later released,” local news station KHOU reported. “Police tell us Atrian is an illegal alien with a prior adjudication for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact and is required to register as a Sex Offender.”

Atrian pleaded guilty to indecency with a child by sexual contact in August, 2014, according to The Journal in Friendswood, Texas. He was sentenced to eight years of probation. He was then released to officials from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services who are said to have deported him to Mexico.

Atrian also had an active warrant out for his arrest, even before Monday’s alleged assault. Police expressed concern he may head back to Mexico.

“The suspect has a vertical tattoo under his right eye of the name “Jesus,” another vertical tattoo under his left eye with the name ‘Atrian,’ and the name ‘Adriana’ tattooed above his right eyebrow,” KHOU reports. “He also has his last name tattooed on his left hand and another name on his right hand.”

In addition to the tattoos, he is described as five-foot-one, 140 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office is asking if anyone has information on the suspect to immodestly contact Crime Stoppers at 979-864-2279 or the Pearland Police Department at 281-997-4100.
