Watch: Heavy Gunfire Breaks Out in Paris as Police Hunt for Terrorists

Per NZHerald, two or three men have barricaded themselves in an apartment in Paris and are exchanging automatic weapon gunfire with police officers, according to journalist Djamel Mazi, who is live tweeting the action from Paris.

Mazi reported the sound of explosions had been heard from the area where the gunfight was taking place. He said locals were told to leave the area as police are attempting to catch one of the suspects from Friday’s shooting in Paris.

French TV station BFMTV reported that some police have been injured during the operation, which is taking place near the Stade de France soccer stadium where three suicide bombers detonated their explosive belts and killed a passerby.
