On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski sat down for wide-ranging interview with Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

During the interview, the topic of former President Bill Clinton was brought up and if whether or not it was fair game for Trump use it against his potential general election opponent, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.

According to Trump, it would be fair game if Hillary Clinton were to accuse him of being sexist.

When Scarborough asked the question again, arguing the press were having “a field day” and getting it wrong, Trump objected and said he thought the press were starting to like him.

Partial transcript as follows:

SCARBOROUGH: You’re saying today you’re only going to bring up Bill Clinton as a possible sexual harasser if she accuses you of being sexist.

TRUMP: That’s what it’s all about — that’s what it was. It had nothing to do with ISIS. Now with ISIS, she lied because she said ISIS did a video —

(CROSSTALK)

SCARBOROUGH: I want to clear this up because the press is having a field day here and they’re not getting it right.

TRUMP: I haven’t noticed it, to be honest.

SCARBOROUGH: So if you —

TRUMP: You’re having a field day.

SCARBOROUGH: No, no, no —

TRUMP: In all fairness to the press, maybe the first time in my life I’ll stick up for the press

SCARBOROUGH:  Suddenly you like the press? I don’t understand this.

TRUMP: They’re starting to like me. They’re starting to get it. They’re actually starting to get it.
