Patriots’ Belichick When Asked If Brady Would Start After Suspension: ‘Jesus Christ’

The New England Patriots enter the 2016 season missing longtime quarterback Tom Brady because he is serving a four-game suspension for the deflation of game-used footballs from two seasons ago.

A reporter asked Patriots coach Bill Belichick if interim starter Jimmy Garoppalo could remain the starter if he plays well even when Brady comes back.

Belichick responded by rolling his eyes and muttering to himself, “Jesus Christ.”
