John Kerry on Potential 2020 Bid: ‘Not Taking Anything Off the Table’

MSNBC on Thursday aired a clip of former Secretary of State John Kerry hinting at a potential 2020 presidential bid.

Kerry was asked at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum earlier this week if he plans to be a candidate in 2020, and the failed 2004 presidential candidate did not rule it out.

“I’m not taking anything off the table,” Kerry replied. “But I’m not sitting around. I haven’t been running around to the most obvious states. Am I going to think about it? Yeah, I’m going to think about it.”

President Donald Trump commented on a possible Kerry run in 2020 in September, saying he would be “lucky” if Kerry ran again.
