Forty-six percent of voters say they want policies enacted by the next president to be “more conservative” than President Obama’s policies, according to ABC News’s election exit polling.

The poll results reveal that only 18 percent of voters want to see “more liberal” policies than those enacted by Obama, while 28 percent say they think the next president should continue his policies.

“Forty-six percent say the next president’s policies should be more conservative that Obama’s,” reports ABC News.

Although the majority of voters said they would like to see more conservative policies enacted, 54 percent of them approve of the job Obama is doing as President of the United States. However, that didn’t help to elect his former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, who conceded the election to Donald Trump early Wednesday morning.
