Following yesterday’s pre-debate claim of “responsibility” by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the death of four Americans during an apparent 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya, the Obama campaign sent a well-timed fundraising email out this morning from former president Bill Clinton. The email reads in part:
No matter how much you support President Obama, no matter how much you support the smart policies he’s proposing, keep this in mind:
It won’t amount to a hill of beans unless you dig deep and help him win this close race.
No mention is made in the email about Mrs. Clinton, who dug deep herself by taking the blame for what is shaping up to be a public relations disaster for the reeling Obama campaign.
