President Barack Obama's chief strategist on Friday said Obama passion in the closing days of the campaign was "coming from his loins."
"I've never seen him more exhilarated than he is right now. He believes in what he's doing. He believes in what he's fighting for," Axelrod said. "You can see in the speech that he's delivering that this is coming from his loins."
After continuing the Obama campaign's often juvenile and over-the-top tone, Axelrod told reporters he just wanted to see if he could get them to write about "loins" in their stories.
Axelrod later said, "I just wanted to say loins... I wanted to see if I can get loins in the story."
