Dr. Phil Lands Interview with Te'o Hoax Perpetrator

Dr. Phil McGraw has landed the first interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the alleged perpetrator of the Manti Te’o fake girlfriend hoax. 

According to TMZ’s sources, Dr. Phil and Tuiasosopo watched Te’o’s interview with Katie Couric, which aired on Thursday, and then conducted an “emotional interview.” The interview will air next week on Dr. Phil’s syndicated show. 

Tuiasosopo allegedly developed feelings for Te’o that he channeled through the fake persona of Lennay Kekua. Allegedly, Tuiasosopo impersonated a female voice to talk to Te’o during phone calls that reportedly lasted up to six hours.
