ESPN may be on the verge of signing Keith Olbermann to host a late-night talk show as early as this week.
Variety reports that “while an ESPN spokesman declined to comment, sources indicated that an announcement on the Olbermann talker could come as soon as Wednesday.”
The New York Daily News reported last week that the network was in talks with Olbermann about a show that could debut around the time Fox Sports 1 launches on August 17.
