Ambassador Kennedy Contradicts State Department; Claims No Information Showed Attack Wasn't Spontaneous Protest For Five Days

Ambassador Kennedy testified before Congress that if he would have instead gone on the Sunday shows rather than Ambassador Rice, he would have made the same conclusions about the Benghazi attack. Kennedy claims that there was no new information from Tuesday, Sept 11, to the following Sunday that showed that the attack on Benghazi was not a spontaneous protest that was the result of a youtube video — as Rice claimed on the Sunday following the attack. This is a direct contradiction to Darrell Issa’s comments at the beginning of the hearing where he was was told by Secretary Clinton and other officials that they never operated under the assumption that the attack on Benghazi was not a coordinated act of terrorism.
